I've been thinking of an appropriate way to mark the one-year (well, a little over one year) anniversary of the premiere of Julius, so for those of you in the Houston area, I'd like to invite you to a free public screening of the opera on April 10th!The video, which was filmed live with multiple camera angles, is of the premiere performance and includes English subtitles. For those of you interested in learning more about the behind-the-scenes processes that went into the creation and production of the opera, I will be giving a 30-minute talk before the screening. Here are the details:
